2009 Bowlapalooza

April 18, 24, 25, & 26!

Tommorrow is our 3rd Annual Dam to Da Ice Fishing Tournament!

Come and join us on Croton Pond for a whole day of Ice Fishing and Fun!

All proceedes are going to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Newaygo County.  Information on how to become a Big, register your child to be a Little, and other information on our program will be available.

Come and and show your support and remember to dress warm!!

In a national study done on Big Brothers Big Sisters programs, it was found that children who participate in one-to-one mentoring programs are:

*46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs

*27% less likely to begin using alcohol

*52%less likely to skip school

*More confident of thier performance in school work

*1/3 less likely to hit someone

*Better in thier relationships with family members

Dam to Dam Ice Fishing Tournament

Everyone is invited to participate in the BBBS fundraiser.  It is going to be held Saturday, Feb. 14th at Croton Pond.  there is a $5 entry fee.  It is a free fishing weekend so no license is required.  The even is sponsored by Croton Bay Trading Post, Croton American Legion, Driftwood Bar & Grill, Hilltop Grocery, Leinenkugel Beer, and WLAV-FM.  Any questions?  Call Samantha at 924-0641 ext. 160
