White Cloud High School PACE Students Experience Unique Art Workshop

Recently, fourteen White Cloud high school students had the opportunity to participate in a rather unique art workshop offered through their after-school Pace program. Partnering with the Newaygo County Council for the Arts (NCCA), the PACE program brought in an instructor to teach a glass fusing workshop.

In 1994 Congress passed the King Holiday and Service Act, designating the King Holiday as a national day of volunteer service. With no end in sight to the economic downturn in our nation’s economy, many Michigan residents are unsure how they will afford the increased cost of maintaining heat and energy during the upcoming winter months.
