 NCCS Housing and Family Services restore families to a condition that is not dominated by crisis and stress by meeting immediate, basic needs. Unfortunately, many families are in crisis, struggling to make ends meet because of job loss, an injury or illness, lack of affordable housing, or ineligibility for public assistance. Additionally, FHS Case Managers, in collaboration with other local human service agencies, assist families by creating long-term solutions that prevent future crises. We also offer a variety of family oriented activities that through common experiences strengthen bonds.
