Four Seasons of Discovery at Camp Newaygo!

For more than 82 years, NCCS Camp Newaygo has been a place of powerful, positive, life-changing experiences for young women. Making lifelong friends, learning new skills and developing self-confidence are all just a part of this camping tradition. We also foster exploration, creativity and cooperation among individuals and communities in the natural environment.

Our campers return home from Camp Newaygo with a suitcase full of experiences that help them in their journey to becoming strong, competent women. Camp Newaygo is all that a camp should be - teaching activities like swimming, archery, canoeing, plus the options to explore special skills areas like high ropes and horseback riding.

Our 88 acre camp rests along Pickerel Lake nestled in the Manistee National Forest, just 40 miles north of Grand Rapids, Michigan, near the town of Newaygo and has been providing children with a place to grow since 1926. Along with the Girls’ Resident Camp, NCCS Camp Newaygo also offers women’s and family programs, and conference/retreats opportunities, along with leadership development workshops, environmental education, after school enhancement, and services to the special needs communities.

If you like spending time in the outdoors enjoying the sun and fresh air, having fun on the water, and making lifelong friendships, NCCS Camp Newaygo is the place for you! Come along for the experience!
